Culture Jamming can be done well many different ways. I believe, however, that there is an ideal way.
Culture Jamming is thriving. The problem in an entertainment centered society is that culture jamming is often seen as just entertainment, and the message is ignored.

Even with the fluffy culture jamming that doesn't really make a point, some instances of culture jamming can be very powerful, but loose appeal because they're difficult to look at or watch. Maybe because they're too grotesque, or because they challenge the viewer too much. Here are some examples of culture jamming that are no fun, but carry intense messages. The problem with this kind of culture jamming is the use of scare tactics.

Sometimes, the culture jamming is unintentional. These are my favorite. They're few and far between, but when a company breaks the third wall and is honest about the fact that they are selling you a product, it can change the way you look at marketing as a whole. Thus, performing the act of culture jamming.
